History & Heritage Day Web Resources
On this day we unveiled touchstones of our history and heritage, we accessed historical resources to provide depth of knowledge, and we engaged those who are using the past to enhance the future, those who are not just preserving history but also making history.
WEB RESOURCES
It is impossible to convey the breadth and scope of hundreds of years of Southern Indiana history and heritage in one day. Many subjects, many organizations, many people have much to add to the evolving tapestry of our history and heritage.
This online resource will allow you to delve deeper into the history of our region to whatever degree you choose. The resources are by no means comprehensive, but offer a great foundation for others to build on.
Below are the names of each site and a direct link to the online resource.
